A warm, friendly look
I used soft colours, simple shapes and plenty of space so the site feels welcoming without becoming too childish.

Sophie wanted a website that felt warm and personal, but still made it really easy for people to see what Playful Paws offers and get in touch.
Live website
This is the real Playful Paws website. You can click through it below or open the full site in a new tab.
Playful Paws is a local pet-care business offering home boarding, dog walking and drop-in visits. Sophie wanted somewhere she could send people that felt like her business rather than a generic pet-care website.
It also needed to answer the obvious questions quickly — what services are available, what the care is like, whether the business is licensed and insured, and how to get in touch.
I used soft colours, simple shapes and plenty of space so the site feels welcoming without becoming too childish.
Home boarding, dog walking and drop-ins each have a clear route from the homepage, so people do not have to hunt around.
Licensing, insurance and what owners can expect are easy to spot, because those are the things people want to know before they make contact.
The navigation, buttons and enquiry route are kept simple for people browsing on a mobile.
The gallery uses genuine photos from Playful Paws, which makes the site feel much more personal than stock imagery would.
The site makes it obvious where Playful Paws is based and who the service is for without repeating the location everywhere.
The finished website gives Playful Paws one clear place to explain the services, show what the care is actually like and make it easy for local pet owners to get in touch.
Most importantly, it feels specific to the business. It does not look like a template that could just as easily belong to another pet-care company.
