Price and payment
Will the price change?
Only when the agreed scope changes or extra work is requested. Any additional cost is approved before work starts.
Is VAT included?
Quotes and invoices state clearly whether VAT applies, so you know the total before work starts.
How does payment work on upfront builds?
Upfront builds are split into two stages. You pay 50% to start the build, and the remaining 50% before handover and launch. Nothing goes live until you have seen the site and you are happy.
Is there a deposit on pay-monthly plans?
Yes — a small deposit gets your build started. It is roughly one month's payment (£50 for One-page, £100 for Starter, £150 for Standard, from £220 for Custom) and it is taken off your total, so you still make 12 monthly payments in all. No hidden extras.
Timescale and content
How long will it take?
A focused site commonly takes four to six weeks; a larger service-led site often takes six to ten weeks once content and feedback are available.
Do I need to write everything?
No. Basic copy support is included in Starter, and deeper conversion copy is included in Standard and Custom. Your specialist knowledge is still essential.
Can you use my photographs?
Yes, provided you own them or have permission. Professional photography can be quoted separately.
Will I see the design before the whole site is built?
Yes. The home page is designed first so you can approve the look and feel before the rest of the site is built to match. You are never committing to a full build sight unseen.
Ownership, domains and leaving
Who owns the website?
You own the completed website once the build is paid. Approved content and supplied assets remain yours.
Can I keep my existing domain?
Usually, yes. Registrar and DNS access will be required, and ownership or transfer responsibility should be documented before launch.
What happens if I leave?
After the minimum term and settlement of invoices, a transfer or export can be arranged without a surprise release fee.
SEO and results
Is SEO included?
Technical and on-page foundations are included. Ongoing local SEO, content and profile management are separate ongoing services.
Can you guarantee first place?
No. Rankings depend on factors no provider controls, including competition, proximity, demand, history and continued activity.
How will I know the site works?
Important actions such as form submissions, telephone clicks, email clicks, WhatsApp clicks and bookings can be tracked.
Ongoing support
What does the care plan cover?
Care is always optional. Plans can cover hosting support, backups, updates, support and agreed edits depending on the level chosen.
Are updates unlimited?
No. Small changes are included; new pages, redesigns, integrations and substantial copy are scoped separately.
Can you maintain my current site?
Possibly, after a technical review. Some websites need remedial work or a rebuild before a support plan is sensible.
