I run VCUK from Mid Cheshire. The person you speak to is the person planning, building and supporting your website — no sales team and no pass-the-parcel.
Why I keep it simple
Web jargon gets old quickly.
Your website has a practical job: make the business easy to understand, trust and contact. It should answer real customer questions and work properly on the phone in their hand.
That is where I start. The design and technology come afterwards, with every decision explained in ordinary language and enough character to feel like your business.
The smaller job wins when it is enough
Every page or feature should solve a useful problem. If a tidy-up will do, I will say so.
Nothing hiding in the small print
Price, scope, ownership and any optional ongoing cost are explained before work begins.
