Technical upkeep protects the basics, but the website also needs to stay commercially relevant. Quarterly reviews can identify unclear calls to action, stale content, missed internal links, under-performing pages and new customer questions worth answering.
Care can sit alongside any build tier. Search monitoring, Google Business Profile activity, review support and ongoing local SEO are priced separately when needed.
What counts as a reasonable amendment?
Small edits to existing pages are normally included: changing a team detail, replacing an image, updating opening times, amending a service description or adding a short notice.
New page design, major copywriting, complex integrations, e-commerce changes and campaign landing pages are quoted separately before work begins.

Approved content and supplied assets remain the client’s property. Ownership of the completed website transfers after the agreed initial payment period.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?
Sometimes. The website and hosting need a technical review first. Unsupported software, unclear licensing or serious security problems may require remedial work before an ongoing plan can begin.
Is hosting included?
Hosting is included in the listed website packages. Provider choice, resource limits and any third-party fees are confirmed before launch.
What happens if I cancel?
After the minimum term, cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice. The website can be transferred or exported after outstanding invoices are settled, with no surprise release fee.
Are unlimited changes included?
No. Reasonable amendments to existing content are included. New pages, redesigns, integrations and substantial copy work are scoped separately.
Do I own my domain?
The domain should be registered to the client wherever possible. If VCUK helps manage it, renewal responsibility and transfer access are documented clearly.
